Life In Color Festival 2014 For this year’s Life in Color Festival in Miami Florida, Melt Creative was commissioned to design, create, and execute a custom stage with visual content for the Festival’s Main Stage. The end result was a projection mapped facade of the Miami Skyline/ InterContinental Hotel fused with custom perspective effects to give the audience a more dramatic experience. Our custom content transformed the stage into a living environment and transported the audience to South Beach. For the two-day festival, our team of VJs melted minds with their live VJ sets, custom tailored to each main stage artist’s aesthetic and branding. Client: SFX Photos: Darrin Harris Frisby The Life in Color Paint Factory Life in Color, “The World’s Largest Paint Party,” began in 2006 on college campuses in Florida. Famous for its paint blast, Life in Color provides a truly transformative environment, filled with paint, fire, live performers and the world’s biggest DJs. For their first ever world tour, we created the “Paint Factory”, an audio-reactive cinematic stage that transforms throughout each show’s duration. Life in Color, Ibiza 2015 Life in Color, “The World’s Largest Paint Party,” approached Melt Creative to design a series of custom visuals and summer themed production content for their first ever summer residency on the island of Ibiza. Taking place at Privilege all summer long, Life in Color Ibiza is a weekly show featuring nonstop paint, action, and cutting edge visual production. Client: SFX Photos: Life in Color Life In Color “Kingdom” 2016 Life in Color, formerly knows as DayGlow, has utilized Melt Creative’s visual design services since its first tour in 2011. Every year we create a different aesthetic and visual theme for them. Past stages include the 3D-Mapped Paint Factory Tour Stage, the Downtown Miami Stage, Unleash Orb Stage, or Blu Visual Goo. For Life In Color’s 2016 festival and worldwide “Kingdom” tour, we delivered creative services that enhanced their massive 60 Foot Lions head with immersive motion graphics and custom mapped animations. Complete with an animated lower jaw and audience-engaging eyes, our team made the lion come to life using 3D perspective motion, plexus/ low poly effects, and bold branded/ themed patterns.
