Motion studies

Scenic systems in motion

Loops, transitions and architectural worlds developed for panoramic screens, moving scenic surfaces and the theater's immersive projection system.

Production chapters

Four connected visual worlds

01

Celebrity Edge theater system

A broad content library built for ten panoramic screens, moving projection surfaces and multiple stage configurations—designed to move continuously between atmospheric texture, location, transition and full spectacle.

02

The Jewelry Box

A 45-minute immersive production created with EVR in under four months. MELT helped concept, design and animate projection-mapped worlds, program and pixel-map the LED cube, and develop storytelling characters for live dance, acrobatics and the interactive finale.

03

Purpose

Panoramic motion environments ranging from the recursive architecture of Infinite Frames to the luminous geometry of Golden Corner. The system used repetition, depth and controlled highlights to stay readable across the theater's wide scenic surfaces.

04

Hype!

A high-energy pop-show package built from bold color, graphic scale and fast-changing scenic looks. The recovered frames preserve the show's visual language alongside the wider Celebrity Edge body of work.

General theater content

A flexible scenic media library

Beyond the named productions, MELT created a wide library of abstract patterns, architectural environments and atmospheric transitions. These looks could sit quietly behind a performance, establish a location or expand into a full narrative moment.

Press & outside perspectives

A theater designed around moving images

Travel-industry reporting and passenger reviews document the finished Celebrity Edge theater, its panoramic projection architecture and the productions supported by MELT’s scenic media.

Complete collaboration

Designed as one system, preserved as one story

The work above was previously split across five archive entries. It now lives together here so the relationship between the theater system, named productions, motion studies and reusable scenic library can be seen as a single body of work.
