Gunna Tour Projection Mapping Case Study

For Gunna’s Live Nation-produced Bittersweet Tour, MELT Interactive handled projection mapping and live video systems for the headliner reveal and show package.

The scope included mapping the scenic stage environment itself, aligning projection across the kabuki backdrop used before the reveal, and dialing in clean convergence across two 32K laser projectors.

MELT also led the iMag workflow for the show, building and setting up the five-camera system, video matrix, and switching racks. During the performance, the team directed the camera crew live over intercom and switched the show in real time.

The result was a tightly converged projection surface and a live-directed video pipeline that supported the tour’s icy, cinematic Bittersweet world from preshow reveal through the headliner set.
