Decadence NYE Festival VJ Case Study

For Decadence NYE 2015, MELT managed the stage’s visual workflow and provided live VJ services across a two-day, multi-artist event for Global Dance.

One stage, many artist requirements

Festival visuals are partly a creative challenge and partly a systems challenge. MELT advanced media and production requirements with the participating artists, organized the incoming elements, and built a show structure that could move cleanly from one set to the next.

Branded content and live camera treatment

Custom Decadence looks were designed around the stage perspective so the event identity felt native to the physical environment. During the show, the team combined those looks with artist content and manipulated camera feeds using real-time audiovisual effects.
