Life in Color Festival 2014 Visuals

For Life in Color Festival 2014 in Miami, MELT designed and produced a custom main-stage environment based on the Miami skyline and InterContinental Hotel. Projection-mapped perspective effects transformed the facade into a living South Beach environment, while MELT’s VJs tailored live visual sets to the artists performing across the two-day festival.

A stage rooted in its city

The scenic concept translated recognizable Miami architecture into a festival-scale canvas. Content was composed for the stage’s exact geometry, using perspective effects to turn the structure into an animated environment rather than a conventional rectangular screen.

Live visuals for a changing lineup

Across two days, MELT’s VJs adapted the show to different performers while preserving the festival’s visual identity. Branded looks, artist media, and live-operated transitions gave each set room to breathe without breaking the larger experience.
